Rush Statement

Rush at Clemson University is intended to give everyone an equal opportunity to explore the vast array of IFC fraternities that differ in ideals, goals, chapter men and approaches to fraternity life. Although all IFC fraternities may have the same general framework for success, it is important to know that everyone can fit into fraternity life no matter personality or lifestyle. With 21 fraternities comprising the IFC, be assured that you can find a fraternity to fit your expectations.

Rush Registration

Registering for rush has never been easier; simply click on the “Sign up for Rush” button on the right side of this page. You will be asked several questions. Please take time to fill out the questions as completely as possible. This information will be shared with the IFC fraternities. Another important aspect to know is that rush is free. Even if you are not sure about joining an IFC fraternity, we encourage you to go through the process to get a better picture of fraternity life at Clemson University.

Smokers Registration

Smokers are the first social events of rush. Each IFC fraternity will have a tent and cookout on Bowman Field. The first two days of rush are informal and are great chances for you to see all 21 IFC fraternities. We encourage you to spend the full two hours each night getting a better understanding of IFC fraternity life. You will be given a nametag by IFC to wear each night. This name tag must be worn to ensure that you have registered.
